Since 2016, UNIK Motorcycles have cemented their spot as a custom boutique, taking their creations to the biggest stages—from the sandy spirit of Wheels and Waves to the polished floors of the Bike Shed in London, and earning multiple features right here on Bike EXIF.

Founders Tiago Gonçalves and Luís Costa manifesto is simple: Be UNIK! They blend elegance, irreverence, and boldness with artisanal craftsmanship to deliver a timeless, revivalist look that expresses pure individuality. This isn’t just custom work; it’s art on two wheels.

The foundation for this build was the bulletproof 2004 Triumph Bonneville. The mid-2000s Bonneville is already a modern classic, built around the reliable air-cooled, 790cc parallel-twin engine that churns out a solid 62 hp and 44 lb-ft of torque. It’s an easy-handling, capable platform—but UNIK saw the potential for something far greater.
